The war against the war on drugs

Does anyone else just get a good laugh about recent stories from CNN regarding the so-called war on drugs? For example, one story referred to the fact that Mexican drug cartels are doing business right here in the United States. Well, not only is such a claim certainly logical it is absolutely a Big Duh! The story gave attention to a southeast part of North Carolina where more than 2400 marijuana plants were discovered in an open yet somewhat camouflaged field. Marijuana plants?! Do people in the U. S. still use marijuana?! Oh really?! That many!! Here’s a thought – get rid of the marijuana users and you no longer have a need for marijuana! Oh, wait…I guess we can’t just get rid of the users. Okay…let’s make marijuana legal so the millions of dollars spent on stopping marijuana can be used to stop marijuana usage. In fact, all drugs that are (for some reason) illegal should now be legal. That way everyone has the chance to profit from the wasted degenerates who “snort, puff, or shoot up” instead of being decent American citizens. That’s the direction this country is going, anyway, right?! So why not let more people profit from it?!

Oh, and let’s all shed a tear for the other story, posted just this morning, regarding a little town in New Mexico that is suffering from financial collapse due to horrendous corruption involving gun sales to drug cartels. You know what…who cares?! The drug cartels are simply operating a business because there is a business to operate. No one with any decent common sense should believe that the problem is the drug cartels! The problems pertain to the drug users! Nothing is being done to stop the rampant use of illegal drugs and yet the majority of Americans want to point fingers at the drug cartels! Helllohhhh?!?! Anybody there?!

I have not posted here in quite some time. Did I.Q.s just drop sharply while I was away?!
